No. All these things purify or clean water taken from the ground or a reservoir or a river. Akash Ganga MAKES water from air. |

| How does this happen? |

It condenses the moisture that is present in the air and converts it into pure drinking water. In other words, it makes rain within itself! |

| But is there so much water in the air? |
| |
Yes, there is! In fact air is the only permanent and totally renewable source of water in the world! |

| This does not seem credible. Explain this. |

You see, it happens like this: over 70% of the surface of this planet is covered with oceans. At a very conservative estimate, they generate more than 5 lakh cubic kilometers of water everyday in the form of vapour. This is more water than the water in all the rivers and lakes and wells of the world put together. This is a lot more than the daily water requirements of the world’s population! |

| But will we not exhaust all the water vapor if we extract all of it on a mass scale? |

That is not likely, because water is evaporating all the time from everywhere: not only the oceans, but from also the rivers, lakes, plants, animals, human bodies….everywhere! As we extract it, it keeps evaporating! The big difference between extracting moisture from the air and from ground or surface storage is that in the former we are working in the midst of a continuous flow of states of moisture, while in the latter from a pre-existing stock of water. |

| But there is a lot of pollution in the atmosphere. Will that not enter into the water from Akash Ganga? |

That is not a real possibility, although many people seem to think so. We have taken a very large number of samples of water from all kinds of places, including the most polluted parts of Metros, got them analyzed and found the water pure, germ and toxin free, and fit for drinking, by international standards. Part of the reason is that, there is not so much pollution in the air as to make the water from air harmful: if that happened, we would have all suffered terrible consequences from merely breathing that air first. Second, we have a very efficient filtering system in Akash Ganga: it keeps out even very minute particles present in the air, and also filters out unwanted gasses and micro-organisms from the water. We can assure you that Akash Ganga produces water, which is one of the safest and germ free, if not the safest! |

| There are lots of pollutants and contaminants in the air. How do you keep the water from Akash Ganga free of them? |

This question relates to the possibility of occurrence excessive quantities of three types of unwanted substances in the air, namely. dust, unwanted chemicals and gasses, and micro organisms. |

Dust: This is taken care of both in the air and in the water. The air that goes into Akash Ganga is filtered up to 10-12 microns. However, some tiny particles of dust can get beyond this filter. These are handled by an even more dense water filtering system.

Chemicals and gasses: All Gasses are taken care of by the Active Carbon filter through which water passes; this filter also stops bacteria. Other chemicals can be handled through the induction of suitable filters. Thus far we have not found any contaminant in the water after it has passed through our filters. |

Micro organisms: We have not found a single incidence of micro organisms in over 70 samples of water from Akash Ganga.
