In the most recent past Mr. Sivakumar led the creation of a global learning organization/academy for HSBC. While working for HSBC Mr. Sivakumar has also led the Shared Services business unit in HSBC Global Technology. This 1200 plus organization provided value added services/consulting globally in the form of Business Analysis, Architectural Services, Testing Services, IT Operations, Process Consulting Services and Project Management Office Services. Under this leadership the Shared Services organization accomplished in six months what was set as a one year goal.

Prior to his career in HSBC, Mr. Sivakumar’s has led and built specialized industry solutions practice areas, across a varied industry verticals such as Distribution, Travel & Transportation, Hospitality and Financial Markets for IBM, Pirce Waterhouse Coopers Consulting and Booz.. Allen & Hamilton.

Mr. Sivakumar has been a champion for emerging technologies throughout his career and has nurtured the development new technology competencies within his organizations.

Mr. Sivakumar also brings a strong international experience leading solutions in global collaborative development environments. He has also pioneered Global Delivery strategies for his organizations based on different financial models centered around driving productivity coupled with cost reduction.

He also strongly believes in continual learning and education as reflected by his dual masters degrees, an MS in Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University and an MA in Economics (focus on Environmental Economics – Thesis on Salinity Control and Damage Estimation, Colorado River Basin) from the University of Colorado.
